Σέφιλντ Γιουνάιτεντ: Φίλαθλοι και παίκτες τίμησαν τη μνήμη του Μπάλντοκ μετά την πρόκριση στον τελικό ανόδου (pics&vid)

Η Σέφιλντ Γιουνάιτεντ επικράτησε 3-0 της Μπρίστολ Σίτι το βράδυ της Δευτέρας (12/5) και με συνολικό σκορ 6-0 πήρε την πρόκριση για τον τελικό ανόδου στην Premier League.

Ακολούθησαν άκρως συγκινητικές στιγμές, καθώς πέρα από τη χαρά για αυτή την επιτυχία και τη διατήρηση του ονείρου επιστροφής στην κορυφαία κατηγορία της Αγγλίας, άπαντες στον σύλλογο είχαν στο μυαλό τους τον αδικοχαμένο Τζορτζ Μπάλντοκ.

Πριν τη σέντρα του ματς, ένα μεγάλο πανό με την επιγραφή «Once a Blade, always a Blade» και τη φωτογραφία του Μπάλντοκ απλώθηκε στην εξέδρα των γηπεδούχων, σε μια άκρως συγκινητική στιγμή.

Sheffield United fans paraded a Greek flag around the pitch in tribute to the late George Baldock following their play-off win tonight.

Baldock, a Bramall Lane legend, died earlier this season aged just 31.
